Volunteers wanted for the upcoming 2020/2021 season.

If you are interested in volunteering at our community club, please express your interest, by emailing enquiries@hanley-townfc.co.uk, highlighting your skills and why you feel you would be a good fit for the role. If you are interested in playing for one of our sides, please send over your CV / playing record and we will forward it on to the relevant team management to look at.

Committee-based vacancies

To stand for election, before club members, at the upcoming AGM, currently scheduled for Saturday 6th June 2020, further details to follow.

  • ChairmanOversees the general running of the club, upholding the club constitution, rules and regulations and chairing committee meeting.
  • SecretaryManaging club finances, completing the annual accounts and working with the secretary on discipline matters.
  • TreasurerLiaising with the FA and Leagues as well as our team officials and Matchday secretary.

Other vacancies we have include, but are not limited to:

  • General Matchday or Weekday helpersCould be helping out with half-time hospitality, acting as a steward or helping out with fundraising activities. You could also help out around the ground, including doing general maintenance work.
  • Social Media EditorsResponsible for managing and creating content for the clubs Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts, working as part of a small team.
  • Programme EditorResponsible for creating content for the First Team Matchday programme.

Hello to all.

We hope you are keeping well in these troubled times. To our supporters and sponsors we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support during the season just gone. Following the FA’s decision to null and void the season given the unprecedented circumstances, we as a club must now begin to plan for the next one (whenever that may be). As is the normal practice at the end of each season, we are now looking for new committee members, specifically a Chairman, Treasurer and Club Secretary, as current members opt to step down in their roles at the upcoming AGM, scheduled to take place on the 6th June via video call (more details to follow). Details of what the roles typically consist of can be found below.
