Charlie Walford has today signed for Hanley Town. Charlie, who is 22, joins the club after a three seasons at leek town, in the Northern Premier.
Walford is a left sided midfielder who likes to attack the defence. Before joining Leek Town Charlie was with local side Port Vale.
He had progressed at Port Vale through the Academy and also the reserve sides to earn a professional contract with them, before signing for leek town.
Speaking to the media team he said: ‘Delighted to join the club, a great club with aspirations of pushing higher’
He went on to add: ‘Hopefully we can push Hanley even further up the league and hopefully secure promotion.’
