Kie Brown, scored his first league goal for the club as Hanley Town get their first league victory at Potteries Park.

Lovely goals from Kie Brown and Kyle Stubbs secures Hanley Town with all 3 points against a good and composed Northwich Victoria side.

The first half was very even with the away side creating a lot of chances and causing havoc on the counter attack.

Both teams were trying to break the deadlock keeping both teams goalkeepers busy

However, Kie Brown comes up with the goods when Tim Sanders clipped the ball into Brown’s chest who riffled into the net to put Hanley 1-0 up going into the break

The second half was more of the same with both teams trying to get something out of the game

Lovely build up play from Hanley puts Tom Ashton through and with good foot work and a class back heel sets Kyle Stubbs up on the edge of the box who slots it into the bottom corner putting Hanley two goals a drift going into the last 20 mins.

The last ten were scrappy with Hanley trying their best to secure the 3 points, both teams flying in with big tackles.

However Hanley gets all 3 points and they get their first win of the season and keeps the unbeaten streak alive

Overall Kie Browns composure and Kyle Stubbs’s driven shot was the difference on the night as both teams put up a good fight.

Good defending from Hanley is the difference in the sides with Josh Beaumont and Jake Langdridge putting some solid interceptions and tackles showing their class ahead of the long season.
