On Sunday, former player and manager Sean Hancock (Shorty) and the club, featured on the BBC News website, as part of their coverage of how lockdown is affecting local businesses and clubs. Sean, for those unaware, has been running 10k a day since 4th May and will continue to do so until 16th August (when the new season would have started), in aid of raising money for the club in this difficult period – a fantastic gesture from someone who has the club in his heart. As of Sunday, the total he has raised stands at £1,652, after an initial target of £1000! For those who can donate and haven’t already, the donation page he has set up can be found here.
